GM van High Clearance Sliding Door Track
Description:
Our High Clearance Sliding Door Track is designed to provide additional clearance when opening the sliding door on GM vans with high offset rear wheels and/or larger tires. This rail has been tested on passenger vans with up to a -18 offset and 285 70 17 all terrains with ample clearance.
We start with a brand new OE factory rail, make our modifications, install new studs where necessary, weld everything up leaving no gaps for potential water build-up, then the track is sandblasted and powder-coated for durability.
Installation of this track requires access to the inside panel of the right rear 1/4 below the glass. If you have a passenger van with the paneling still installed, you'll likely want to remove the rear seating and the side panels which does not require dropping the headliner.
This is a bolt-in job and very straightforward. We are known for our detailed instructions with lots of photos. Currently, installation instructions for this product are limited to a written account only. If you are a local Colorado customer we will offer free installation on this product for photo documentation rights. (We've done several of these sliders to date, but just haven't taken pictures)
