Description:

This is our Hi-Lift drop carriage and skid plate system for GM 2500, 3500 & 4500 series vans, years 2003-current. This setup lowers the mounting point for the lower control arms approximately 4 inches and sets the track just a bit wider on the front end of the vehicle. This kit in conjunction with our other suite of Hi-Lift products will help you achieve 5"-6" of lift for both torsion bar and coilover conversions dependent on pre-load. 

About:

This system is designed to work with our Hi-Lift conversion suite and isn't a 100% guaranteed bolt-up-without-mod kit. There are 2 small spots on the van frame where the front carriage has to be clearanced, templates are included (photos follow.)

Typically we modify the frame mount area on the rear carriage as part of the differential mounting kit. These kits vary quite a bit, so we don't have a "generic template" for those cuts. It's possible the carriages may bolt up with little or no modification to that area, but it's untested. 

For that reason, if you are building something highly custom or a 2WD pre-runner van, please contact us prior to purchase to go over details. 

Lastly, just to get ahead of something, this skid plate does NOT interface with the Quigley LIFS system, we have a skid designed for that, but need your motivation to start building it. 

Control Arm Compatibility: 

These carriages are designed to function with stock Silverado/Sierra lower control arms used in 2500/3500 series pickups years 1999-2010. The same arms were used in Yukon/Suburban 2500s until 2013, the H2, and Avalanche 2500. If you are using aftermarket control arms, just be sure they fit that application. If you are building a prerunner-style lifted van, you can reuse your van lower control arms with these.

Tools Required:

Installation can be done with hand tools once you've made it to the point of installation. It can be helpful to have a jack of some sort when installing, to seat the ball joints and keep them from spinning when torquing.

  • Shipping: Our components are carefully wrapped & packaged and shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, depending on what is available. If you require a particular carrier, please contact us ahead of your purchase.  Customers in Colorado may arrange for in-person pickup within 1-2 business days of purchase. 
  • Shipping/Fulfillment time for components: We typically ship within 1-2 business days of your order and we carefully monitor our inventory. In the event that we are unable to meet that timeframe, we will contact you and arrange either a full refund or a timeframe for fulfillment agreeable to the customer. 
  • Taxes: Colorado residents must pay a sales tax of 7.5%, no sales tax is collected on out-of-state shipments currently. 
  • Quality and Returns:  We are consistently complimented on the quality of our products and the ease of installation. Fabricated components are generally hand-built here in Colorado by seasoned professionals. Replacement or aftermarket parts are only offered in high-grade options.

    If you are in any way disappointed in the components, we will issue a full refund less the cost of shipping when the product is returned within 30 days of receipt. If you decide to return any components that didn't apply to your build or you changed your mind about, a shipping +15 % restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
